Sage X3 offers a valuable feature that allows for the creation of import/export templates. I'm aware that Sage 300 People supports batch templates and provides the ability to export screen data to Excel.
However, while exporting to Excel is possible, there are certain screens within Sage 300 People for which batch templates cannot be created, making it difficult to re-import updated information. I’ve attempted to work around this but with limited success.
With this in mind, I would like to formally request that your team explore the possibility of implementing a similar import/export functionality in Sage 300 People, based on the model used in Sage X3. In Sage X3, this functionality is available under:
Setup > Usage > Import/Export Templates and
Usage > Import/Export Templates.
This enhancement would significantly improve data handling efficiency and system usability.
